Djerassi Resident Artists Program
The Pacific fog rolls off the ocean on a daily basis, cleansing the land. On the west wall of my studio during an artist residency, I let the white creep out of the wall ooze down to the ground and crawl up to encompass the black wood stove. Playing on opposites, fire and water, hot and cold, fluid and angular – each element digests the next.
Recorded noises of my hungry stomach gurgle out the white speakers.
